NATURAL EDGE SLABS - many are Spalted and Curly - 20% off
Mantles on your to-do list? We've recently brought in a gorgeous selection of live edged planks. Much of this material is harvested, then kiln dried, from standing dead timber. Spalting and curl make some of these pieces irresistably beautiful, and you can't get more ecologically friendly than this. Choose from Maple, Elm, Beech and Hickory. 4/4 spalted and curly lumber also available in these woods.

Ambrosia Maple 4/4 and 8/4 - 20% off
Something quite unique. Colorful staining is caused by the Ambrosia beetle, which tunnels into already cut Maple, depositing a fungus into the holes. This fungus seems to react with Maple in particular to produce a very colorful streaking. Not to worry about the beetles; kiln drying renders them dearly departed. Turning squares and 24" 4/4 sections also available.

4/4 Poplar - $2.25/bf
Our mill didn't skip-dress our last Poplar shipment... same nice wood, just a little harder to assess the figure - so here's a bargain for you!

4/4 Western Red Cedar - C-Select top grade, dressed to ¾" This is not the standard decking material and it shows! Clear, straight boards.

4/4 Superior grade Alder - Sometimes called "poor man's Cherry". Mostly clear of knots, with a fine grain. Take a look at our finished samples. Regular $6.95/bf, Sale $4.50!

4/4 Iroko - aka "African Teak" - only 150 bf left. Regular $11.25/bf, Sale $7.50!

6/4 Afrormosia - only 200 bf left - less oily than teak. Lovely dark chocolate colour when finished with blond shellac and PolyWhey. This species is now protected, so we will not be stocking it again. Regular $10.95/bf, Sale $8.75

Inventory Clean-up and Clear-out!
