What does laser engraving look like? We have several samples displayed at the store. Pens, business cards, signs etc. What wood looks best? We recommend any light coloured wood with a tight grain. (ex: Maple, Cherry) Any wood is possible to engrave on but the darker the wood, the less visible the engraving will be. How do I provide the image? We require a digital image for your project. The more contrast the better. Any file type will work.... Should my project be "finished" or "unfinished"? We can engrave on both surfaces however we recommend "unfinished" as the laser leaves a small residue which needs to be removed with light sanding. How large can you engrave? We can engrave up to 18" x 24". I want to engrave a pen - should I provide the assembled pen or just the tubes? We can engrave either way.
